Hi Everyone,
I've been doing great - a lot on my plate - both literally and figuratively.
I made two more recipes from Jamie's cookbook - both were awesome.
I missed one full day last week of my daily yoga/meditation/pranayama commitment. I jumped back on and having been doing more meditation along with the yoga which is good.
The big thing is that we did our first Launch 2010 orientation. I was really happy that we did it because I learned that what was up for people last year - money - isn't really up this year. We were inspired by our three (thank you Sophie and Mia) participants to change or next orientation to focus on creating a vision. It feels a lot better because I think that's what's up with the trainers too. Plus Mia gave me great feedback that I need to be a little tougher so I've been shopping for my power suit. Fun, fun...
The wellness program is also launching, I have my second meeting tomorrow to put together the program and it's all a little overwhelming but I'm enjoying all the creative energy. The key is to focus, not put too much on my plate and still have lots of fun!

Hi Guys
I've been busy with real estate since I got back from the cruise! I have been watching what I eat but did not get a workout in last weekend. My workout today was good and I stayed and did cardio after the weights. My mantra and meditation was silly since I could not quiet my mind but hopefully it will be better tonight.
I have not weighed myself this week but I will tomorrow and report back.

Launch 2010
Well it finally went out! Our first year long training invitation. I have been working on it for over a week and it still wasn't perfect but finally I just had to get it out there. I am so scared no one will show up to our orientations. If you get it and can think of anyone to forward it on to please do. The more people that see it the better. I guess I'll have to put in on my facebook since now there are so few emails that I have saved. It's like remembering phone numbers I lost the skill too when everything got stored in my cell phone.
I haven't cooked a think from Jamie's cookbook so tonight I'm making the butternut squash soup with homemade croutons.
Yoga/meditation/pranayama has been going great. I've gotten my hour in everyday so far and I found a great book for iyengar yoga sequences so my body feels really happy with all the stretching and strengthening.

So far...so good
Wow! This is exciting! I'm gonna love this blog. Now I just have to get used to using it.
Bev, I just read the Slight Edge...It was so good. It was just what I needed to start this year off on a good foot and turn a new leaf. I've classified it as one of my "Foundation Books"... To me a foundation book is a book that you contastantly read or reference and your use the principles of the book to create a strong foundation on which you build your life... I have about 5 of them. I intend to read each of my foundation 3 times each throughout this year.
About the BIG Commitments for 2010 that I've made:
No read meat or pork: so far, so good. It hasn't been difficult at all. I'm very suprised that I havent even craved either one. I've been doing yoga almost every morning- which is really contributing to a strong mindset towards being healthier and feeling better overall. I also signed up for training for a 5k race. It's exciting...all of these baby steps feel GREAT!
$6300 monthly budget: I'm in the process of reading Smart Women Finish Rish. Again..baby steps here. Reading this book is helping provide the clarity and understanding I need to create a paradigm shift in my thoughts and beliefs around money. I'm am doing the suggested exercises and worksheets in the book. Who knows??? Depending on what I uncover with my finances, I may just even LOWER my budget... more to come.
Discovering my gift: I haven't totally focused on this one yet... I have until the end of the month. I told myself that I would not procrastinate- eek! I'm procrastinating!
I have to get better at engaging in my vision EVERYDAY... I need to be ungulfed in it EVERYDAY... Enough about me, How are YOU doing???

Week 1
This week has been a challenge since I have been sick all week. I got a lot done though. Our team met twice, reviewed 2009 and planned 2010. One of the things we discovered is that we need to be more accountable...go figure. I have been working on my finances and am totally frustrated with my bank. I used to have Wamu and now am with Chase. If anyone has a suggestion for a bank I would love to hear from you. I did yoga on my own, sun salutations. Thank you Ali for the heads up on On Demand yoga. Ali and I met and worked on our training business.
Have you read the book "The Sight Edge?" It is about making small decisions every day that will either get you closer to your goal or farther away. Pretty eye opening for me. Check it out.
Make 2010 your best year ever!

1st Week
Hi Guys,
This week has been difficult because I have been feelin' sick. I have been making it to my workouts and having some great planning meetings with my team.
I have been doing my mantras and meditation daily and I already lost 1 lb, only 44 to go!
I have been reading some books about food and formulating my true eating plan. I have really only implemented drinking more water and eating less sweets. I am looking forward to my cruise next week and when I get back I will have a new excercise and food plan to help me make my goals.
Financially, things are looking good. I may be able to pay off most of my biggest CC next week!!!!

Hi All!
I am a newbie to blogging but here goes nothing...
The first week of the commitments was awesome. I have 3 for 2010 - 1. Be a trainer running 2-4 year long training plus additional weekend workshops, wellness programs, seminars earning 8k per month. 2. Meditate, yoga, pranayama in any combination for 1 hr a day M-F except vacations. 3. Cook my way through Jamie at Home cookbook.
Well so far so good. I made one recipe the baby leeks and white fish from the winter section on Leeks. Jamie is right, leeks are under-rated and super yummy in their own right. I also read the section on gardening and was inpired to start my plan for what I want to grow in our small garden this year. I did one hour everyday except for today I've only done 13 minutes of yoga but it's only 4:44pm so I've got time. I'm finding that on demand has some great yoga videos that are helping me stay on track. I met with Shauna yesterday to develop a plan for the Wellness Program and today I met with my Mom to plan our orientation and marketing piece for our next training. Oh and I started this blog so all and all a great week!
